It was long time planned, and today I finally finished my Spreadshirt Shop, thanks to ~Dreighton who asked for shirts with my cat drawing.

I placed various products like shirts, mugs, bags and buttons with three different motifs into the shop and I'll add more motifs and products in the future.

At the moment you can purchase shirts and more with the cat drawing above, my bestseller sprite and my celtic tripleknot:



I plan to add more motifs in the future, especially celtic patterns.

Caution! Minor rant ahead:

The last few weeks I started creating some free to use journal and gallery designs in different colours. I thought it would be nice for people who don't know how to create CSS designs to have some basic designs available for download.
So I put a lot of work, time and efford into these skins in order to make them presentable and useful. I also spent some time to write down a plain "how to use" manual and/or install guide, as well as some simple terms of use. I also put a big green "free to use" button in the deviation description, because all my other deviations are not free to use and I wanted people to instandly know that they can use the designs without hesitation.
So guess what happend? Right! People ask me, if they can use the designs and how they install the designs. Not to mention that a ton of normal members kept asking me how they can use the designs although I've written in the description that only premium members can use CSS skins.
So I figured that nearly nobody reads any descriptions. I found a ton of people using messed up looking versions of my journal skins, because they haven't read my manual. Dislocated boxes and unreadable texts all over DeviantArt was not something I intented with the designs. I intented to provide some simple but pretty skins for all community members, but now I'm just dissapointed, because the designs look mostly aweful; just because their users are to lazy to read the description.
I think after I put so much time and efford in creating the skins, the user should at least read the damn manual!

And if there are still questions after reading the manual, I'm still here to answer questions and provide help. I won't bite, if you've read the description first.

It's finally spring, and I was able to crawl out of my winter hole and be creative after a very long pause. I normally like the winter, the snow and the long nights, but this year I couldn't wait for the spring to finally wake up mother nature.
Maybe it's because this winter was very long and exhausting for me. Many things happended and some things changed a lot. So it's a boon to see all the flowers bloom; to see that the wheel not only turns downwards, but also upwards. The dark days are over and light is ones more coming back into the world. New leaves grow on bare branches and in only a few weeks the tree ist green and full of blossoms.

After a long break I was finally able to finish some of my photos from september and started to upload them here. I apologize for the delay, but my life was doing flipflops in the last few months and there was absolutely no time to finish all the photos taken in autumn.
I will upload a whole bunch of pictures in the next few weeks. They're all from autumn so please forgive me if they're not fitting the current season

I revamped some of my older photos from this year. Mainly because some of them were extremely noisy :dohtwo: I also made some minor colour adjustments here and there.
I didn't want to spam my watchers' inboxes with all the old photos, so I decided to just put them in this journal:

For those who wonder where many of my prints have gone: I've sorted through my store the last week and deactivated a lot of them. I figured that it's not very beneficial if so much moderate pieces flood my store and distract visitors from my good pieces
However, if there is a picture, that's no longer available as a print that you like to purchase, don't hesitate to request it, and I'll activate it again

I know, I haven't uploaded anything the last few days, but I have the perfect excuse I was busy reworking my website Geistermond I was really unhappy with my old site for quite a while, because adding new pictures to the galleries was totally cumbersome and tedious. I absolutely hated updating this side, therefore it was permanently out of date
So I decided to install an open source CMS and administrate my website with this useful software. At first it was a little bit difficult to understand how this CMS exactly works, but after a few days I was able to use it properly
Now I can update my galleries at Geistermond easy and in no time

I still have a lot of photos from August to upload. And even more pictures from my trip to the botanical gardens in Berlin last week. So there will be many more photo uploads in the next few weeks

For months I'm planning to write a journal and for months I'm unable to write something reasonable So today I'm finally going to write this damn journal and I'm going to submit it, although I'm dead tired (stupid cat woke me up ) and I should clean up our apartment (Saturday is cleaning day )

I also managed to finally prepare some remaining photos from August and started to upload them There is a additional bunch of pictures that must be sort through and prepared for upload, so there will be lots of photography submissions on the next weeks. Unless my stress level is suddenly increasing and I start procrastinating again

I also started a secret project with ~Dreighton that will hopefully be finished before the end of the year I hope it will go as well as we've planned I will eventually tell you more in the next journals

I also want to thank all my visitors and watchers for all the s, nice comments and helpful critiques I've received, you're all wonderful I'm amazed about the positive feedback my latest photos have received, that really encourages me to improve my skills

This feature is dedicated to all the unseen flowers in the world and the fact that we tend to forget their beauty. It's also dedicated to a wonderful and inspiring PS3 game named Flower by thatgamecompany.
I also wanted to show some flower photos that hadn't received the proper attention. Not everyone is a profi photographer and not every photo is perfect, but they are still beautiful and are worth looking at, so give them the proper attention

At least not yet I'm terribly sorry for vanishing for 4 months, but I had a lot to do and there was simply no time to reply to all the messages and comments, let alone taking photos or creating fractals. Now everything is a little more relaxed and I can take the time to reply to all the messages and indulge in some photography. After all ~Ingideon gave me a new camera for christmas, and it's about time to do some practicing

So I'll upload some flower and tree photos in the next few days. I know, it's nothing overwhelming, but I'll do my best to learn and get better. If I take a look at my first photos, I think I've improved quite a bit

I've also ordered a macro lens, so maybe I'll be able to take some nice flower closeups at the bothanical gardens of Berlin in the next months. If nothing unexpected happens, I'll have enough free time to take new photos und create new fractals, as well as write a journal entry from time to time

I also planning to delete some old stuff, there are some deviations that simply look awful and I must admit: I don't want to keep them in my gallery. Same goes for my website Geistermond; I'll radically clean out the galleries there, especially the photo galleries. If you improve your skills you don't want to look at the old crap, and you don't want people to see your old crap

Finally it's Christmas, so I wanted to wish you all a good time

His father is already preparing the roast goose for dinner and the table for presents in the living room is covered with gifts, chocolate and candy
And I gained the most amazing gift ever! ~Ingideon and his parents gave me a Canon EOS 450D for Christmas! I already knew that he is absolutely crazy, but I didn't see that coming Thank you soooooooooo much my dear!
I'm still reading the manual and I'm very aware that I have much to learn, but with this camera I've got the best technical chance to improve my photography skills So I'm looking forward to try and learn

OMG I just sold a print!
Although it is "only" a postcard, I'm really thrilled that I sold something. I've never expected to sell anything, left alone a piece that isn't one of my most popular.

First of all, I want to thank my visitors for all the faves and comments on Sprite. I've submitted it at #Apophysis a few days ago and my Inbox was promply flooded with tons of faves and comments I'd love to respond to every single comment and thank you for every single fave, but I'm too busy at the moment. Christmas is near, and there are still many things that must be taken care of

I also want to thank `ginkgografix for her wonderful CSS tutorials and templates. They helped me at creating a new journal lookout based on the new gruze CSS. So If you're having problems creating your own journal CSS, be sure to have a look at her Tutorials.

The last few months I've received a lot of complains about my watermarks and the now smaller size of my pictures.
So I've altered the watermark to a less disturbing version. I know it's still ugly and I very well know that it distroys the picture, but I have to protect my art! I was a victim to art thieves a few times now and the watermarks are the only way to protect my work. So please stop complaining! I'm tired of explaining the same thing over and over again a hundred times. There are good reasons for the watermarks and there are good reasons for the small image size so please stop bugging me about it. As long as there are art thieves on the internet, I have to protect my work, it's as simple as that.

In this journal entry I've collected some very important rules concerning my art. Please read them carefully.

• It is not allowed to publish my works without my explicit written permission on DeviantART or any other website, forum, guestbook, profilepage or whatsoever.

• My art is MY property and I decide where it is published. So if you want to use my work, note me and ask me for permission BEFORE you use it!

• I'll never give my permission to remove my watermarks, so please don't ask.

• My art is NO STOCK! It is not intended to be used for creating photomanipulations, collages, wallpapers or other kind of art. Don't alter it in any way, even when I gave my permission to republish it!

• It is forbidden to print my works in any printmedium without my explicit written permission. That includes but is not limited to: artbooks, articles, newspapers, magazines, postcards and posters. If you want to have a print of one of my works, you can purchase it here on DeviantART, if it's not available as a print, than please request it.

• It's obviously forbidden to sell my works in any way. The only place where you'll be able to purchase my prints will be here at DA.

• My art is not ment to be used as avatars or icons, nor here on DeviantArt neither on any other website, forum, chat etc.

• The journal and gallery CSS I'm using here should not be copied and reused in any way, neither in parts nor as a whole!

• Please accept that I'm NOT doing requests. My free time is limited and I'm not willing to spend it on random people I don't know and never have seen.

Now it happened: Some idiot here at DA stole one of my best pieces and submitted it here as his own work.

I just can't say how damn FURIOUS I am! It's not that I haven't stated out explicitly that I don't allow such a thing. In fact I wrote it under every single piece I've submitted here at DA. Are those people simply to stupid to read, or are they just ignorant?!
Of couse I've reported the thief immediately and hope that DA will delete the plagiarism as soon as possible. What angers me the most is the fact that the perky thief didn't just take my picture, no he also erased my watermark in the right corner! It's one thing to submit a piece, created by another person, it's another thing to alter it slightly and claim it as your own, but deleting the watermark is just criminal!
I'm almost sure he not just used one of my pictures for his gallery, but also has taken deviations from other people. So you should have a look at his gallery and make sure he didn't take something from you without your permission: !himadesigner
If you recocnize a work from another deviant you know, please let her/him know so that she/he can report the thief in ordner to delete the picture from the thief's gallery. Thank you.

Because of the fact that he was able to simply delete my watermark, I was forced to make the watermarks on my pictures bigger. I'm sorry, I know that such a big watermark kind of ruins every piece, but I can't allow people to rip my art. And the latest incident proved that copyright notices and small watermarks simply don't keep crackbrained people from ripping
I also deleted the wallpapers. Sorry for all people who appreciated and used them as attire for their desktops; you can thank jerks like !himadesigner, because they are responsible for big ugly watermarks and the disappearance of free goodies like wallpapers.

And now I'm gonna play some Dynasty Warriors with my boyfriend and kick some polygones ass to relief my anger! Good night.

No, I'm not dead, I was just busy
I start the new year with another feature. This time it is dedicated to ravens, crows and one of my favorite author Edgar Allan Poe. If you haven't read his famous poem "The Raven" be sure to do so, you wouldn't regret it

After a long break, a passed exam and two weeks of being ill , it's time to report back here at DA
The past few weeks were so exhausting and there was no time for photography, fractals or anything else except learning But it was worth it, I passed the exam and now I have the permission to work as a alternative practitioner
After the exam I became ill and almost two weaks of sore throat, headache and a cold followed. I think it was the stress and the over-working which gave me the rest. But now I feel much better, in a few days and I'm cured
So I thought it is a good idea to spend my extendet free time for a new feature. I'll show you tree deviations from each of my friends. Enjoy
