Done with Apophysis 2.08beta2 modified with The Gimp.
After 4 days of work I've finally finished this one The general idea is the same I used with one of my other pieces Sprite. But the mood and impression is totally different. I've used 6 different fractals to create this picture, each one rendered within 2,5 hours. The idea of creating something like "Sprite" with almost no colours lingered in my mind for the last few months, but somehow I wasn't able to come up with anything satisfying. There is so much depth in this it's amazing.
I keep seeing different pieces to it, working on the laptop it makes a hologram effect. -- Artfire Shop Jewellery Critic at *devCRIT Want critique, request a dedicated critic The watermark damages it a whole lot, but you have to protect your work! ^^
it looks amazing. and you must have taken a long time! -- |Anata-no-koto wasure-nai.| [link] Thanks, I'm glad you like it
Apophysis is a fractal program and quite tricky to handle, if you don't know what to do. But there are many tutorials that should help you, just have a look at =Apophysis -- Thank you so much, that was exactly what I was aiming at
It's quite interesting how strongly a difference in monitors can effect the look of a picture. -- Yes, the watermark ist really ugly. I wish it wasn't necessary, but art thieves just can't keep their dirty fingers by themselves
It took me about 4 days to finish this. I'm glad you like it -- I Completly understand, but nevertheless if i use my brain hard enough and take away the mak,
i still looks amazing. 4 Full days? D: -- |Anata-no-koto wasure-nai.| [link] You're welcome
